Client Services presents a unique opportunity to attend technical training: UPS & Battery Technical Training Seminar
Client Services has created a family of services that offer solutions
aimed at enabling our clients to maintain the continuity of electrical power to their critical AC and DC loads. These
services have been developed to provide total client support; from the initial design concept and planning stages, to maintaining
the 20+ year life of the equipment in the field. Client Services offers everything for "cradle-to-grave" support: from consulting
and site inspections, to preventive maintenance, and everything in between.
This part of our web site outlines the wide variety of support available
from Client Services; however, please bear in mind that any and all of these can be custom designed to fit your given situation.
Although a general description is given for each service, they are individualized to your specific requirements. Likewise,
not only do we customize each service, we can also create additional products and services that may not be listed in this
booklet. Working with you, we can explore other ways to insure that your investment in SCI continues to pay for itself for
many years over the life of the equipment.
Service on equipment provided by SCI is performed by SCI factory-trained
employees. This insures that the technicians working on your equipment have been certified by SCI as qualified for the task.
Technicians spend anywhere from 6 months to a year in intensive factory training before they receive their certification.
We have Service Centers worldwide. The service centers at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio and in Houston, Texas have technical
support coordinators to assist you. Not only will they schedule service trips for our technicians, but they provide phone
support as well. Often, they are able to troubleshoot problems over the phone, helping clients avoid delays in getting their
equipment up and running without the need for a service call on-site.
Client Service Administrators (CSAs) are located in Columbus and Houston
to help clients with spare parts, warranty administration, parts shipments, invoicing, and other "commercial" issues. There
is also a Contracts Administrator in Columbus who reviews service contracts, including issues regarding insurance, Contractor's
Pre-Qualification Forms (PQF), and Health and Safety issues.
We also have technicians in California, Louisiana, Mexico, Thailand, Argentina,
the Middle East, China and Taiwan. These technicians can be dispatched regionally, or as needed around the world.
Our Battery Management Services, the newest addition to our family of
after-market products, employs service technicians full-time to perform installation, testing, and maintenance services. In
addition, there are trained technicians at our headquarters in Columbus to monitor battery systems supported by battery monitors
installed in the field.
All of these services are provided with one purpose in mind: to allow
you to maintain continuity of critical power. Our Client Services Team is ready to help you meet the challenges you face in
